This Blog is about miniature-painting. I collect and paint Dutch uniforms from various periods in Dutch history. Mostly I build in 1/32 scale and also 1/16 and 1/72.
I use metal figures and do a lot of conversion work with Airfix and Historex parts.
I also make little diorama's or vignettes.
Painting is mostly done in acrylics and oils.

Huzaar motorrijder WW2
In may 1940 the Dutch army had Hussars with motorbikes. Their task was reconnaissance.
